When is student finance paid?
Maintenance loans are usually paid in three instalments at the start of each term. Tuition fee loans are paid directly to your university and do not enter your bank account.
Can I get extra money if my loan is not enough?
Many students apply for bursaries and scholarships offered by their university. You can also check if you are eligible for hardship funds if you find yourself in a difficult financial position.
