UK Broadband Picker
Five questions and we will point you at the right UK broadband deal, and covers social tariffs, 9-month student contracts and full fibre.
Step 1 of 5
Are you currently a student or a working graduate?
Is anyone in the house on Universal Credit, PIP or similar?
What contract length suits your tenancy?
How heavy is the household usage?
How many people in the house?
The one-touch switch rule
Since September 2024, the UK operates a One Touch Switch system, you only need to contact your new provider to switch, they handle the disconnection with your old one. No more double-paying during the transition. This means picking the right broadband is low-risk. If the deal is not working, switch again in a few months.
Who pays and how to split
Put the bill in one housemate's name and split it via our bills splitter. Do not try to get it in the landlord's name unless they are offering broadband as part of the tenancy, it creates disputes later.
